- After the batter has rested for 20 minutes,add baking soda and some water about 3 to 4 tbsp to this batter. Quickly mix well, it will get light, fluffy and double in volume. Transfer the batter to the greased tin. Place it in the cooker above the stand. Insert the gasket inside the lid. Close the lid of the pressure cooker, do not put the whisle. Now cook it on medium flame for 20 minutes..
