I have steamed the suji dhokla in an electric cooker. A dhokla steamer or even a pressure cooker works well for steaming the dhokla. You can also make the dhokla in a microwave. You can cook Instant sooji Dhokla using 10 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
Ingredients of Instant sooji Dhokla
- Prepare 1 cup of Sooji.
- You need 1 1/2 cup of Curd (fresh/sour).
- It's pinch of Turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of ginger.
- You need To taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tsp of eno.
- You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
- It's 2 tsp of coriander leaves.
- You need 1 tsp of curry leaves.
- You need 2 tsp of Oil.
You can make dhokla using different ingredients but today I am bringing you the Instant Sooji Dhokla that too in the Instant Pot. I have made Khaman Dhokla before but not in the instant pot so wanted to give it a try. Instant Pot has changed the way we have been cooking these days. Instant Sooji Dhokla is a soft and spongy preparation of semolina (sooji) and yogurt (dahi), with a perfect balance of sour and sweet flavors, the crunch of crackled mustard seeds and fried curry leaves and freshness of coriander.
Instant sooji Dhokla instructions
- In a big bowl put Suji and blendedCurd stir for few minutes and put haldi,salt, Ginger paste and cover the batter for 20 minutes.
- In a Steamer put water for boiling.then in the dhokla batter put Eno,pour in the container (grease with little Oil all'sides/ immediately pour batter and cover the Steamer for 20 minutes and check it out with a toothpick, it's done.
- For Tadkaa,in a Tadkaa Pan put Oil when heating put mustard seeds curry patta slit green chillies and little sugar,when crackles put little water so that sugar absorbs,then put over Dhokla.
- Lastly granish with corrriander leaves and chutney and yummy it taste.
