- Prepare 1 CUP of BENGAL GRAM FLOUR(CHANA DAL FLOUR).

- Prepare 3 TBSP of BLACK MILLET FLOUR(BAJRA FLOUR).
- Prepare 1/2 CUP of BOTTLE GOURD.
- It's 1 tbsp of green chilli and ginger paste.
- Prepare 1/4 TSP of BAKING SODA.
- It's 3 tbsp of oil.
- You need of salt as per taste.
- You need 1/2 TSP of TURMERIC POWDER.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of coriander powder.
- Prepare 1/2 TSP of ASAFOETIDA.
- Prepare of gravy.
- Prepare 1 cup of curd.
- Prepare 21/2 CUP of WATER.
- It's 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It's 1/2 TSP of TURMERIC POWDER.
- Prepare 1/2 TSP of ASAFOETIDA.
- Prepare 1/2 TSP of MUSTARD SEEDS.

Muthia are made from leftover cooked rice and simmer in yogurt-spices gravy. I do make it whenever I have leftover rice in the fridge. A month ago, my in-laws were here. My mother-in-law taught me how to make this rasiya muthia.
Rasiya dhokla instructions
- Take all the ingredients dhokla (Bengal gram flour, wheat flour and black millet flour, ginger and green chili paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, baking soda, and asafoetida) in a deep plate..
- Mix well and it comes together like a dough, no need to add any water..
- Grease your hand with oil and shape the dhokla in round shapes..
- Take yogurt, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder in a bowl. Mix well and add water to make thin batter..
- Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add asafoetida, add mustard seeds, once they pop, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle..
- Then saute in ginger and green chili for 30 seconds..
- Immediately add prepared yogurt mixture. Let it come to a boil. Make sure that heat is on medium-high..
- Once it starts to boil (not simmer), add muthia one by one..
- Let it boil. Stir in between and let it boil..
This variety of dhokla is an interesting one that shouldn't be missed by dhokla lovers! Rasiya dhoklas are basically traditional dhoklas coated in a thick ras (sauce) made with jaggery, button chillies, and tamarind.
