You can have Poha Ladoos using 6 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients of Poha Ladoos
- You need 2 cups of poha (flattened rice).
- Prepare 3/4 cup of jaggery.
- You need 1 tsp of elaichi powder.
- It's 7-8 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of chopped almonds.
- You need 2 tbsp of chopped cashews.
Poha Ladoo is amalgamation of roasted flattened rice, dry fruits, khoya , ghee and sweetened with condensed milk. Ladoo or Laddu is a very popular delicious mouth watering round shaped Indian. Dry roast poha a little or until it is hot to touch. Do not over roast or brown it.
Poha Ladoos instructions
- Dry roast poha on slow flame till nice crisp. Roast little at a time.It should not change in colour..
- Take jaggery..
- Ina grinder add poha and grind and make a coarse powder.Once done add jaggery along with it and grind and make a powder..
- Ina pan take 1 tbsp ghee and add chopped cashews and almonds and saute on low flame till nice crisp..
- Melt ghee and keep..
- Ina big bowl take poha jaggery mixture and add fried nuts and mix well. Add 1 tbsp ghee at a time and mix well. Add ghee till it binds nicely into ladoos. Keep it to dry for sometime.Then store in airtight container..
- Your healthy and yummy ladoos are ready within minutes. You can adjust the sweetness as per ur taste..
