  4. You need 2 tsp of Kasoori Methi.
  5. It's 1/2 tsp of Garam masala.
  6. It's 1-2 tsp of Sugar.
  7. You need to taste of Salt.
  8. It's 2 tbsp of Ghee/Oil.
  9. Prepare 1 of Onion chopped.
  10. It's 3 of Tomatoes chopped.
  11. You need 18-20 of Cashew nuts.
  12. It's 2 tsp of Ginger Garlic paste.
  13. Prepare 2-3 of Dried Red chilli.
  14. You need 1 inch of Cinnamon.
  15. Prepare 3 of Green Cardamoms.
  16. Prepare 1 of Black cardamom.
  17. Prepare 3-4 of Cloves.
  18. It's 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg/Jaiphal.
  19. It's 1/4 tsp of Mace/Javitri.

  21. You need 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  24. You need 1 1/2 tbsp of Ghee.

Dhaba Style Paneer Lababdar instructions

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee/oil in a large frying pan.When hot add dried red chillies, black cardamom, green cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves, mace for 5 mins..
  2. Add chopped onions and saute for 3-4 minutes..
  3. Add the ginger and garlic paste and saute..
  4. Add tomatoes and cashews along with 1/2 tsp of salt and saute for 3-4 min..
  5. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and nutmeg powder and saute for 2-3 min..
  6. Take it off the heat. Let it cool..
  7. Add the masala along with 2 tbsp of water in a mixer grinder and ground it into a fine and smooth paste..
  8. In the same pan add the rest of the ghee/oil heat it on medium heat. When hot temper it with bay leaves saute for 10 seconds. Then slowly pour in the prepared masala paste and cook in medium heat 7-8 min..
  9. As Oil starts coming up from gravy. add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil..
  10. Add salt and sugar and continue cooking on medium heat for a minute..
  11. Add paneer cubes and the grated paneer and mix everything well..
  12. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat..
  13. Add in kasoori methi and garam masala and mix well..
  14. Cook for another two minutes and take it off the heat..
  15. Grate cheese to garnish. Serve it with parathas..
