Ingredients of Pav Bhaji
- It's 1 cup of each of capsicum, carrots, potato, peas, cabbage and cauliflower.
- Prepare 1 of onion, chopped.
- Prepare 1 tbsp. of ginger-garlic paste.
- It's 1 of tomato, chopped.
- Prepare 1 tbsp. of oil.
- It's 2-3 tbsp or as required of butter.
- Prepare 1 tsp. of tomato paste (opt).
- You need to taste of salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp. of red chilli powder.
- You need 1-2 tbsp. of pav bhaji masala / garam masala powder.

- Prepare as required of onion, green chilies & lime wedges.
Pav Bhaji step by step
- Pressure cook the veggies in 1 cup water for 3-4 whistles. Heat oil in pan and saute the onion till light brown..
- Add the ginger-garlic paste, tomato paste and all the dry spices mixed with some water to form a paste. Saute till the oil separates..
- Then add the tomatoes and continue to fry till it is mashed..
- Add the boiled veggies & continue to simmer, mashing it simultaneously..
- When done, add some butter and mix well..
- Toast the pav halves in butter on a tawa..
