Ingredients of Chana Chole
- It's 2 cups of Kabuli chana.
- Prepare 2-3 cups of Onion.
- Prepare 1 cup of Tomato puree.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Green chillies paste.
- It's 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Cumin powder.
- It's 1 of Bay leaf.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of ajwain / carom seeds.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of Black til.
- It's 3-4 pcs of Garlic.
- You need 3-4 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1 of Green tea bag.

Chana Chole step by step
- Firstly take a bowl and soak the chana for about 4-5 hours..
- After 4-5 hours it will look like this..
- Now take a pressure cooker and put the chana to it..
- Add 2 cups of water,salt, Ajwain,Black til, chopped onion,garlic pieces and green tea bag to it..
- Give it 3-4 whistles..
- Now the chana is boiled. You can take out the tea bag from it..
- Take a kadhai and add oil to it..
- Now add all the spices(cumin seeds,bay leaf, pepper corn balls)..
- Let it crackle..
- Now add sliced onion to it..
- Fry it until the colour changes..
- Now add tomato puree to it. Cook it for some time and add cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt to it. Cook it for about 4-5 minutes..
- Cook it until the masala separates oil from it..
- After sometime add 1 cup of water and chole masala to it..
- Give it a boil..
- Turn off the gas and serve it hot..
