- Prepare 1/2 cup of chickpeas (kabuli chana).
- You need 1/2 cup of bengal gram(chana daal).
- You need 1 and 1/2 spoon of coriander seeds(dhania).
- Prepare 1 small bunch of fresh coriander(dhania patta).
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need 1/2 inch of cinnamon(daalchini).
- You need 1 and 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds(jeera).

- Soak the chickpeas overnight.In the morning add 3 cups of water little salt..and a pinch of baking soda into it and pressure cook for 7-8 whistles..
- Now take the chana daal and pressure cook it for 4 whistles with a little bit of salt and turmeric powder, meanwhile, you make a paste of Coriander leaves with 2-3 green chilies..
- Heat 3 tsp of ghee in a pan. Add the onion and saute for 3-4 minutes or till golden. Add the ginger-garlic paste and continue to saute for another minute..
- Add the spices powder..dried mango powder..garam masala, black salt, coriander paste into it. Fry it with little water in low flame for 5 minutes.
- Lightly roast and powder the cinnamon, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black cardamom and cloves.
- Mix this roasted powder to ur gravy and saute it well..
- Now add chickpeas and Bengal gram and mix adjust the salt and half cup water and let the mixture come to boil..simmer it for 5 minutes in low flame..
- After 5 minutes. Now Transfer this into the pressure cooker for 4 whistles..
- After that heat, the remaining ghee in a ladle, take it off the heat and add red chilli powder immediately pour over the chickpeas..
- Serve hot with puris..
