Pineapple Rasam. Pineapple Rasam is a special variety of rasam. The pineapple adds distinct flavour and taste. Pineapple rasam/kesari are my favourite as I love the wonderful smell of this fruit.
The sourness from the pineapple and the subtle sweetness brings great flavors to the traditional rasam. I make this rasam as often as I make the tomato garlic rasam, as rasam's are an all time favorite dish in every household. Pineapple rasam can be made along with lemon also. You can cook Pineapple Rasam using 17 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients of Pineapple Rasam
- Prepare 1 cup of chopped fresh pineapple.
- Prepare 1 cup of tomato chopped.
- You need 1/2 tsp of termeric powder.
- Prepare 2-3 of garlic clove.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
- It's 1 tsp of corriender powder.
- Prepare of salt as per taste.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of boiled tuver dal.
- It's 1/2 tsp of mustard.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 of dry red chilli.
- You need 1 of /2 2 tsp asofotida.
- Prepare 7-8 of curry patta.
- You need 1 of bay leaves.
- You need 1/4 cup of coconut grated fresh.
