Ingredients of Ragi dosa
- You need 1 cup of ragi flour.
- You need 1 cup of fine semolina (rava).
- It's 1/2 cup of rice flour.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of curd.
- It's 1 tsp of salt.
- You need 1 tbs of ginger green chilli coriander leaves paste.
- You need 4 cup of water.
- It's As needed of Oil or ghee for roasting.
Handy at times when you want to make a quick breakfast or brunch. as i previously mentioned, the recipe for ragi dosa is very similar to the crisp rava dosa. as a matter of fact, i have taken the rava dosa recipe and replaced the maida ingredient with ragi flour or finger millets. basically, the recipe is pretty much a restaurant style and quite a popular one. having said that the traditional finger millet dosa recipe is entirely different. in other words. Ragi (Finger Millet is a nutritious grain and a staple food in many of the South Indian states. It is generally milled into flour and then used for making ragi dosa, ragi roti, etc Ideal kids and for diabetic patients The ragi dosa that I am posting today is similar to the Rava dosa I have posted earlier. The only difference is the inclusion of ragi flour to the basic rava dosa recipe.
Ragi dosa instructions
- Take all the flours in a mixing bowl. Add curd, chilli ginger paste, salt. Mix well..
- Add 2 cup of water. Mix all ingredients together well. Cover and keep aside for half an hour..
- Add 1 more cup of water or as required to make the flowing consistency of batter..
- Heat the tava on low medium flame. Pour the dosa batter carefully on tava. Sprinkle some oil..
- Once dosa becomes golden brown flip the dosa and cook for 2 minutes..
- Finally serve the hot ragi dosa with coconut chutney or mint chutney..
