  2. Prepare 2 of medium sized onion finely sliced.

  7. You need 1 cup of rice.

  1. Boil the rice until 85-90% done.Drain the water and keep aside..
  2. Now heat the pan and add 1 tsp oil. Fry the onions till golden brown.Keep aside..
  3. Chicken tikka preparation: Cut the boneless chicken pieces into cube shape. Wash the chicken pieces properly and drain the water completely. Now add 1/4 cup curd, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1/2 tsp jeera powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt, 2 tsp chicken tikka masala, 1/2 lemon juice, 1 tsp oil and coat the chicken pieces nicely and keep marinated for 15 minutes..
  4. Pre-heat the microwave in 180 degee centigrade in covection mode. Now grease the grill pan and keep the chicken pieces. Keep in convectoon mode for 10 minutes and again flip yhe sides of the chicken pieces, keep in convection mode for another 10 minutes..
  5. Keep in grill mode for 10 minutes. Take out and krep aside..
  6. Biryani preparation: Take a deep bottom pan. Heat 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp ghee. Add bay leaves, mace, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and saute for few seconds. Add 1/4 tsp sha jeera, 2-3 curry leaves and saute for few srconds. Add 1/2 portion of the fried onions and saute for few seconds. Add remaining turmeric powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder, salt, chicken tikka masala and saute for few minutes. Now add curd and mix well.   7. Add 1/4 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup water and mix well. Now add the chicken tikka and chopped coriander leaves (1/2 portion) and mix really well and keep on low to medium flame for few minutes until water is absorbed slightly. On top of the chicken layer add the rice..
  8. Sprinkle fried onion, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, add half lemon juice, 1 tsp ghee, saffron milk mix. Cover the pan with aluminium foil and then cover with lid.
