- Prepare 500 gms of chicken.
- It's 1/2 kg of basmati rice.
- Prepare 1/2 bunch of pudina.
- Prepare 1/2 bunch of coriander leaves.

- It's 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare 1 tsp of chilli powder.
- You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

- You need 1 tsp of coriander powder.

- You need 2-3 of bay leaves.
- You need 1/2 cup of curd.

Hyderabadi Chicken dum biryani instructions
- Clean the chicken and add chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, chicken masala and curd, mix all ingredients with chicken and keep aside for about 30 minutes.
- Add enough oil and fry finely chopped onions till golden brown colour, remove from oil.
- Now drop the marinated chicken in that oil and keep it aside.
- Now cook rice in another vessel, add whole garam masala, bay leaves, salt and allow it to cook, when rice is half cooked, strain it, keep aside.
- Cook the chicken and add pudina, coriander leaves,.
- Add half the boiled rice and fried onions.
- Add remaining rice and onions layer by layer and cover the vessel with a lid (don't allow pressure to go out).
- Reduce flame and cook for 40 to 45 minutes.
