- It's 1 kg of par boiled rice.
- It's 1 kg of boneless chicken.
- It's 1 cup of curd.
- It's 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
- You need 1 tbsp of garlic ginger paste.
- It's 1 tbsp of green chilli paste.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of turmeric.
- Prepare as per taste of Salt.
- You need 2 of onion sliced.
- It's 1 tbsp of tandoori masala.
- You need 2 of tomato.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Oil.
- It's 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Prepare 1 drop of Colour optional.
Chicken Biryani instructions
- Marinate chicken with curd, ginger garlic paste, chilli paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, lemon juice, tamdoori masala, salt for 2-3 hrs..
- Now remove excess marination and shallow fry or bake it in oven. Keep remaining masala. Once chicken is cooked, cut it into pieces..
- Now heat oil and fry onion golden brown. Once it is golden brown remove half of fried onion from oil, and add excess marination in it and let it cook till it shows oil on top. Add tomato and cooked chicken and cook it for few more minute..
- Now take oven proof pot and layer chicken then rice then onion then chicken then rice add few drops of colour and pour ghee on top. Sprinkle some water. And cover it with aluminium foil and bake it for 10 mins..
- Serve it with raita..
