Ingredients of White Chicken Biryani
- Prepare 1 Kg of chicken boneless or with bones.
- It's 3/4 kg of basmati rice.
- You need to taste of whole spices (cinnamon,cloves,bay leaves,cardamom).
- It's 5-8 of slitted green chillies.
- You need 1 cup of onion paste.
- It's 1 cup of fried onions.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 1/2 cup of khoya crumbled.
- Prepare 1 cup of yogurt.
- It's 1 cup of cashew paste.
- Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp of black pepper powder.
- It's 1 tsp of garam masala.
- It's 2-3 threads of Safron.
- You need as needed of Butter or ghee.
White Chicken Biryani instructions
- Boil the rice with some whole spices.
- Cook till 3/4 done. Strain & keep aside.
- Heat ghee add the left whole spices.
- Add onion paste fry fr3 to 4 mins.
- Add ginger garlic paste and some slitted green chillies.
- Asaute fr some time. Add khoya cook till oil separates.
- Add the yogurt mix well.
- Add cashew paste fry fr few mins.
- Add chicken fry fr 5 to 8 mins.
- Add little water, salt,black pepper powder & garam masala.
- Cook till chicken is tender.
- When done add lemon juice & left green chillies.
- Soak saffron in warm milk.
- In a big pot spread rice at the bottom.
- Spread the chicken gravy..
- Again spread rice,sprinkle saffron and fried onions.
- Cover with aluminium foil.
- Cook on medium flame fr 10 to 20 mins.
- Serve hot with salad & raita.
