  6. Prepare 1 cup of tomato puree.

  8. It's 2 tablespoon of hung curd.
  9. You need 1 teaspoon of shahi jeera.
  10. It's 2 of javitri.
  11. You need 1 of jaifal.
  12. It's 4-5 of green cardamoms.
  13. You need 3-4 of cloves.
  14. It's 2 sticks of cinnamon.
  15. It's As needed of ghee.
  16. It's To taste of salt and sugar.
  17. Prepare 1 teaspoon of red chilli Powder.
  18. You need 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  19. Prepare As needed of water.
  20. It's 5-6 strands of kesar soaked in warm milk (1 cup).
  21. You need 3-4 drops of mughlai attar.

Chicken biryani step by step

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with salt,turmeric,red chilli Powder and curd,keep aside for 30 mnts.
  2. Boil water in a wide pan,add salt and all the whole masalas except shahi jeera.
  3. Wash the rice and pour into the water.
  4. As the rice becomes par Boiled remove and drain out the water,keep aside.
  5. Now heat oil in the pan add shahi jeera, onion slices saute well adding salt and turmeric powder.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears.
  7. Now add the Potatoes and chicken fry well..
  8. Cover it and keep on a low heat, stirring occasionally.
  9. Add tomato puree and saute well adding red chilli Powder.
  10. As the chicken is cooked well add the rice and mix with a light hand.
  11. Drizzle the kesar soked milk and mughlai attar and cover.
  12. In another pan heat ghee and mix the biryani Masala.
  13. Pour this over the biryani.
  14. Chicken biryani is ready to be served with raita.
