Kashmiri rajma masala instructions
- Wash and soak the rajma overnight..
- In the morning,pressure cook rajma with water, salt, cloves, cinnamon stick and dry ginger powder for 15 minutes..
- Heat oil and ghee and add bay leaf and add chopped onion..
- After the onions turn golden brown,add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute..
- Add chopped tomato and tomato puree and saute again well..
- Add salt and other dry spices and saute till it starts leaving oil..
- Add boiled rajma and add more water to adjust the gravy..
- Pressure cook for a whistle again and switch off the gas. Serve the hot rajma masala with rice and salad..
