Ingredients of Rajma Pulao
- It's 1 cup of Boiled Rajma(kidney beans).
- You need 2 cup of sliced onions.
- You need 1 cup of tomato puree.
- It's 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.

- It's 1 tbsp of cumin powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
- You need 1 tbsp of coriander powder.

Rajma Rice or Rajma Pulao is a delicious combination of soft boiled kidney beans, basic spices and Aromatic Long Grain Basmati Rice. An Ideal vegetarian meal plan for Meatless Mondays. Rajma Pulao step by step
- For boiled rajma u need to soak rajma for 4-5hrs in a water..
- Then rinse off the water from it and put it in a pressure cooker with one cup of water in it..
- Give it 3-4whistles.Boiled rajma is ready..
- Now take a kadai and heat oil to it..
- Add cumin seeds to it..
- Add cardamom,cloves, cinnamon stick,bay leaf to it.
- Now add sliced onions to the oil and fry it until the onion changes aromat..
- Add ginger garlic and green chillies paste to it and mix it well..
- Now once the onion changes it's colour add tomato puree in it..
- Cook it for 3-4minutes..
- Add turmeric powder,salt,garam masala,and jeera powder to it..
- Again mix it altogether and cook the masala for atleast 3-4minutes..
- Cook masala until it separates oil from it..
- Now add the boiled rajma to the masala and cook it for 2-3minutes..
- Add kasuri methi powder (this step is optional)to give it a nice flavor..
- After 2-3minutes turn off the gas the rajma is ready..
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice..
- For making pulao soak 1cup of basmati rice for 15-20minutes..
- Take a vessel add 2cups of water in it..
- Bring it to a boil..
- Now add a pinch of salt to the boiling water,a cardamom,a clove and boil it..
- Now add the rice to it and cook it for 3-4minutes..
- U will see the rice is cooked nicely..
- Rinse of the rice from the water and eat hot with the vegetabl curry..
