You can have Upma using 13 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
Ingredients of Upma
- Prepare 1 cup of semolina.
- You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
- It's as needed of Oil.
- Prepare to taste of salt.
- Prepare 1/4 tbs of red chilli powder.
- You need 2 of chopped capsicum.
- You need 1 of finelly chopped onion.
- It's 1 of chopped carrot.
- It's 8-10 of curry leaves.
- It's 2-3 of green chilli.
- It's 1 tsp of roast Chana dal.
- You need as needed of dry coconut.
- You need as needed of Corinder leaves.
Upma instructions
- First take1/2 tbs oil in pan and roast semolina for only 5 minutes.
- Now heat some oil in pan, add mustard seeds,curry leaves and green chilli,fry it for two minutes..
- Add onion and fry it for 2-3 minutes,add capsicum and carrot.
- Add salt and red chilli.
- Add roasted chanadal, cook it for 10-15 minutes.
- Now add semolina and 3 cup water,,and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with green leafy coriander leaves and coconut,, upma is ready to serve.
