  1. It's 2 cups of soaked and drained Sago.
  2. It's 2-3 of Green chillies finely chopped.
  3. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger juliennes.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of roasted peanuts.
  6. It's 2 sprig of curry leaves.
  7. You need 1 tbsp of Bengal gram.
  8. It's 1 tbsp of Urad dal or Split Black gram.
  9. Prepare 12-14 of Cashewnuts lightly roasted.
  10. You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  11. It's 1/8 tsp of asafoetida.

  1. Wash and soak Sago in considerable amount of water for at least 2 hours. This makes them super fluffy and light..
  2. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and dry red chillies. Now add bengal gram along with Urad dal, chopped ginger and green chillies. Saute for a while and then add salt and red chilli powder..
  3. Now add the soaked and drained sago to it. Mix well and cover with a lid. Let it cook on a low heat for about 15 minutes. Keep stirring it in between to avoid the formation of lumps..
  4. It will be done in 15 to 20 minutes. There is no need to add any water. Mix roasted peanuts in it as a final step. Garnish with coriander leaves and some lightly roasted Cashews for a perfect crunch and texture. Enjoy!.
