- You need 2 cup of rice.

- Soak rice for 30 minutes.
- Chop onions, curry leaves, garlic and red chillies..
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal the mustard seeds must splutter and crackle.
- Now add onions and fry it till it turns soft and then add garlic, red chillies and curry leaves.
- Add 6 cup water and then add salt mix it and add rice..
- Once it starts to boil and then close the lid and pressure cook it for 3 whistles for high flame..
- Serve it with sambar or rasam.
